Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Senator Talha Mehmood thanked the Pakistan Citizens Forum and said that there was a need to promote the positive message. Only two months were given and in this period we tried to provide maximum facilities to the pilgrims.

He said that they are stopping buying medicines worth crores of rupees with the money of pilgrims. And these medicines will be provided free of charge with the support of pharmaceuticals. He said that we thank the King of Saudi Arabia King Salman bin Abdulaziz and the Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz for the excellent services. Saudi Arabia made exemplary arrangements this year as well. He said that he spent time with ordinary pilgrims without protocol. He said that we have not made Hajj free to anyone. Free Hajj used to be performed by big government officials who did not perform their duties in the name of assistants. We have eliminated the VIP culture and will improve it further. It was done.
He added,” I went on Hajj and I am an eyewitness that the official Hajj was ideal. Murtaza Javed Abbasi said that there have been complaints of private Hajj operators, they accommodated more people in less space. They should be held accountable and action should be taken against them.

Addressing the ceremony, former Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Muhammad Yousaf said that the service of pilgrims was a rewarding act but it was a very difficult task. Senator Talha Mehmood accomplished a difficult task in a short time. He worked day and night for two months. He also put himself in trouble for the Pakistani pilgrims.
