Islamabad, (Parliament Times): Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwarul Haq has said that scholars Ulema and Mashaikh should play their key role in national unity, brotherhood, stability, peace, and stability in the state.

The AJK premier made these assertions while speaking to a delegation of scholars that called on him yesterday. Led by Allama Junaid Shah Attari, the delegation was comprised of Maulana Aftab Madani, Maulana Ali Shan Madani, and Maulana Ijaz Madani.

Appreciating the role of Ulema in promoting interfaith harmony in the liberated territory, the PM said that religious scholars have played a vital role in maintaining peace by preaching tolerance, brotherhood, and unity among Muslims.

Referring to the highly polarised world, The PM said that in this age of polarization and misinformation, Muslim scholars must play their much-needed role in forging unity besides promoting respect for human rights, and tolerance in society. Scholars, he said, should provide their valuable input and suggestions to help the government in its attempts to ensure the supremacy of justice and merit in the state.

The AJK premier said that providing speedy justice to the people was one of the top priorities of the present government.

Expressing his satisfaction over the prevailing law and order situation in the state, the PM said that religious scholars (Ulema) have played a key role in maintaining the atmosphere of tolerance and brotherhood in Azad Kashmir.

Dawat-e-Islami delegation on the occasion informed the prime minister about the religious and social services of their party at the global level.
