FAISALABAD: Naseer Yousaf Vohra, the President of Cloth Board Etihad Pakistan, clarified that the historical indifference of WASA can cause financial and human loss to the people. If the institutions and the employees working in them are deliberately negligent, such institutions, There is absolutely no need for the people . Vohra further said that under the guise of political affiliation, ‘inexperienced people have been appointed to positions for which they have no plan & strategy to save and secure the people.
if further more chances are provided to irresponsible officers,
surely the public will lose billions of rupees even there is also a strong possibility of heavy loss of lives.
He condemned WASA in harsh words and said that
WASA has reached the end of obstinacy, therefore WASA Faisalabad should be aware and replace the pipelines immediately to prevent the collapse of the plazas comprising of thousands of shops.
He further informed that,
Faisalabad Vakilan Wali Gali No. 4, 5, 6, 7 all the plazas will be drowned due to failure of sewage system’ and Central Cloth Board Etihad Group Pakistan cannot remain silent on this dangerous situation.
It should be noted that the sewage water has entered the basement of the plazas due to the willful negligence and arbitrariness of
WASA.
Moreover, Haji Abdullah Nawaz Vohra, Senior Deputy, Cloth Board, Ittihad Group, Pakistan, has said that Muharram is coming and non- management of WASA is missing the opportunity to save us.
WASA wants to see dead bodies that will be seen in these plazas because of WASA” but WASA has not been touched by this indifference. The higher authorities should take immediate notice for remedial measures to secure the working persons in these plazas on priority.
A sea of sewage water is flowing in Aminpur Bazar, Chiniot Bazar and Vakilan Wali Streets No. 4, 5, 6, 7. he further informed.
WASA employees seem unable to restore the sewage of these streets ?
If WASA does not show its performance in a few days, the traders will be on the road to protest & the district administration should pay attention to resolve the sewage system immediately.
