WANA: Newly appointed District Police Officer South Waziristan Lower Farman Ullah held separate introductory meetings with tribal elders and SHOs in his office.
In the meeting, the DPO directed all the SHOs to behave well towards the people and solve their problems in a timely manner, If public problems of any police station reach my office, it will be considered as weakness and incompetence of the concerned SHO and departmental action will be taken against him.
The DPO further clarified that criminals and drug peddlers should be dealt with strictly and with iron hands and other police officers were also directed to perform their duty with dedication and honesty.
Later, the DPO also met the tribal elders in his office, the DPO appealed to tribal elders to work together for the betterment of the area and to cooperate with the police, so that crimes can be stopped in time. The DPO vowed to make the area a cradle of peace.
On this occasion, the tribal elders pledged to cooperate in all possible ways and stood side by side with the police force.
