Islamabad, (Parliament Times) : Justice Khawaja Muhammad Naseem, the senior-most judge of the Supreme Court of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, was sworn in as the Acting Chief Justice of Azad Jammu and Kashmir here today.The AJK President Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry administered the oath of office to Acting Chief Justice to Justice Khawaja Muhammad Naseem.The oath taking ceremony held at Kashmir House Islamabad was attended by Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwar ul Haq, Government Ministers, Judges of the Supreme Court and High Court including Justice Raza Ali Khan, Chief Justice High Court Justice Sadaqat Hussain Raja, High Court Judges Justice Mohammad Ejaz Khan, Justice Chaudhry Khalid Rasheed, Justice Mian Arif Hussain, Chief Election Commissioner Justice (Retd) Abdul Rasheed Salharia, and several others.Meanwhile, President Azad Jammu and Kashmir Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry expressed his heartfelt condolences to former Director General Information Raja Azhar Iqbal over his mother’s demise and prayed for the departed soul.
