WANA: Internet service has been suspended in various areas of the district of Lower South Waziristan for several weeks, causing concern among people, In this regard, the youth of Shakai Valley held an important meeting in Shakai Bazar Mughal Khel Market, in which it was decided that they will not sit down until the restoration of Internet i.e. 3G and 4G.
At the first opportunity, they will take Wana Olasi Pasoon (Wana Public movement) into confidence, after which they will start their protest for the restoration of the Internet.
Amir Hamza, a local political and social figure, expressed regret over the shutdown of the internet in the meeting, that the world has been made a global village by the Internet, but it is a matter of great regret that even in this modern era, we are being deprived of the facilities of the Internet.
He said that the Internet is the basic right of the residents of Lower South Waziristan, it is extremely unfair to deprive the citizens of this right. In order to achieve this right, the youth have decided that in the first phase, Wana Olasi Pasoon (Wana Public movement) will be taken into confidence in this regard Ifbthe Internet is restored through their efforts, the protest will lose its justification But in case of non-restoration, help will be sought from “Wana Olasi Pasoon” to make the protest successful and this organized protest will continue till the restoration of the Internet in Lower South Waziristan.
In the meeting, it was jointly decided that on Friday, May 19, the people of Tehsil Shakai, Tiaraza and Birmal will consult with Wana Olasi Pasoon (Wana Public movement) regarding internet service restoration.
He said, In which the next action plan will be prepared, the Internet service has been suspended for several weeks in Tehsil Birmal Azam Warsak, Raghzai and Tehsil Shakai of Lower South Waziristan so due to which people are facing a lot of difficulties,
Local people say that in any case we will demand 3G 4G and 4G restoration from the federal government and the Ministry of Interior, Because this is our basic right, we will first inform the higher authorities to restore this right and If they do not take notice of this, then the youth of the area will come out for full protest.
