Islamabad, (Parliament Times) : The IBCC keeps on its mission to provide maximum facilitation and ease of service to the students under the leadership of its CEO/Secretary Prof. Dr. Ghulam Ali Mallah whose vision is to digitize all processes of IBCC in order to boost the performance and ensure transparency and authenticity. Under his spirited leadership the IT Team of IBCC started working on connecting its attestation portal with the database of BISEs in order to get verification directly into the system and saving the students from hassle of visiting from office to office. As pilot project the databases of FBISE and BISE Lahore were connected and the students of these boards were not required to bring verification from these boards in sealed envelope.
To expand the scope of IBCC’s Attestation Portal further, an important meeting was recently convened at the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Peshawar. The meeting witnessed the participation of Secretary IBCC, Dr. Ghulam Ali Mallah, Chairman BISE Peshawar, Mr. Nasrullah Khan Yousafzai, Chairman BISE Mardan, Mr. Farid Ahmed Khattak, and IT teams from IBCC and all BISEs of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK). The primary objective of this meeting was to deliberate upon the integration of the Attestation Portal of the Inter Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC) with the Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISEs) across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK).
During the meeting, the attendees discussed the importance of streamlining the verification process for educational documents, thereby facilitating students and stakeholders alike. The proposed enhancement aims to connect the IBCC’s attestation portal with BISEs in order to expedite and enhance the verification procedures. This advancement would enable individuals to conveniently verify their documents without any hassle. Moreover, this new system will serve as a robust deterrent to the proliferation of counterfeit documents, thereby promoting the authenticity of educational qualifications. The IBCC has already introduced QR based attestation to ensure authenticity and integrity of educational documents and this initiative is being highly praised by all stake holders. The Pakistani High Commission in Australia highly appreciated this initiative when CEO/Secretary briefed him in a meeting recently in Australia.
Furthermore, it was announced during the meeting that the online verification system for KPK boards will be operational within the next two weeks. The collaborative efforts between IBCC and BISEs, along with the implementation of online verification systems, demonstrate a commitment to embracing technology for the betterment of education in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the country. This initiative will undoubtedly alleviate the challenges faced by students, parents, and institutions when verifying educational documents, ultimately fostering trust and reliability in the educational system.
