RAWALPINDI, (Parliament Times) : Vice-Chancellor of Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad Prof. Dr. Niaz Ahmad Akhtar has paid a visit to PMAS-Arid Agriculture University, Rawalpindi to congratulate Prof. Dr. M. Naeem on his appointment as Pro & Acting Vice-Chancellor of PMAS-AAUR.
While congratulating, Prof. Dr. Niaz Ahmad said that It is a proud moment for Dr. Muhammad Naeem to take charge as Pro and Acting Vice Chancellor of one of the best agriculture universities of Pakistan which has a glorious past for its quality education.
He hoped that both the institutions would take such measures in future that would not only improve the quality of education but also prove to be a source of pride for Pakistan all over the world.
Prof. Dr. Muhammad Naeem has assumed the charge of Pro-Vice Chancellor and acting Vice-Chancellor of PMAS-Arid Agriculture University, Rawalpindi (PMAS-AAUR) here on Monday 15th May, 2023 for the period of three years as per the order of the Governor Punjab/Chancellor of the university.
Dr. M. Naeem who has Ph.D. in Entomology from the UK, has been serving the university for more than 25 years at various posts and due to the publication of several quality research papers he has also received the HEC best university teacher award in 2010.
Currently he was serving as Chairman Department of Entomology, Incharge, Dean Faculty of Agriculture, Chairman Sports Board and Convener of different administrative and academic committees of the university.
At the occasion, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Naeem was congratulated by the deans, directors, faculty members, Administrative officials and employees, and expressed their commitment to work together for the development of the university.
