ATTOCK : An armed motorcyclist was killed during a police encounter while his two other accomplices fled away from the outskirts village Sheenbagh within the jurisdiction of police station Attock Saddar . A spokesman of Attock Police told that a team of Attock Saddar Police during snap checking in the Sheenbagh area in the wee hours today, signalled three persons on a motorcycle to stop, the sources added. On seeing the police party, the motorcycle riders opened indiscriminate firing and fled. Mean while, police conducted a chase and traced the suspects hiding in an under-construction house. On this occasion, the armed outlaws opened fire at the police team and in retaliation one of the assailants identified as Muhammad Bilal was killed and his two other fellows managed to escape. The dead was shifted to the Asfandyar Bokhari District Headquarters Hospital Attock where his dead body was handed over to its real heirs after getting its detailed medico legal formalities. Later on, case was registered against the outlaws and launched further investigation. However, the police could not find the clue of the other two criminals till filing of this story.
