Bagh, (Parliament Times) : The meeting of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Azad Kashmir Central Bagh candidates will hold today in Bagh under the chairmanship of President Tehreek-e-Insaf Sardar Abdul Qayyum Niazi. Seven candidates have applied for an APTI ticket and the final decision will expect by this evening. Among the PTI candidates, Colonel Retired Raja Zameer, Raja Qadeer Khan, Raja Masood Advocate, Raja Haroon, Raja Shoaib Azad and Sardar Sadaqat have applied. Elections will be held in Hayat Constituency East Bagh on June 8, in which the number of registered voters is 140,000, with which the largest vote bank is the Narmah community, the second is Maldial community, the third is the Khakha community with 8,000 voters. 12 thousand votes of others are also included. Former Prime Minister Sardar Tanveer Ilyas was successful in the last elections. In case of his disqualification from the court, the election will be held. People’s Party candidate Zia Qamar and PML-N’s Raja Mushtaq Minhas have started their campaign. While PTI is yet to decide on its candidate, according to the survey report, among the PTI candidates in East Bagh, Raja Qadeer is in a better position.
In case of getting these tickets, good competition will be expected, while Colonel Raja Zameer and Raja Masood Advocate are also using all their means regarding tickets, but the final decision will be taken by PTI leadership and party president Sardar Abdul Qayyum Niazi. Raja Abdul Qadeer is an old ideological worker of PTI who was inducted by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf by President Barrister Sultan Chaudhry.
While in the last election, Begum Imtiaz Naseem was elected MLA on a special seat by former Prime Minister Sardar Tanveer Ilyas, but she rebelled from the party. Sources said that currently, Raja Qadeer Khan is a strong candidate in PTI who has the support of PTI’s elected councillors in East Bagh and important figures in East Bagh. The decision will be led by the party which is likely today.
