Federal Minister for Religious Affairs says he will fully try to provide maximum facilities to the Hajj pilgrims.
Islamabad, (Parliament Times) : Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Senator Muhammad Talha Mahmood said, “He is trying to provide maximum facilities to the Hajj pilgrims. They are getting residences in Makkah and Madinah at a lower rate than in 2019,”.He expressed these views in a meeting with Former Federal Minister for Religious Affairs, Sardar Muhammad Yousaf, and Central Coordinator Professor Sajjad Qamar while Senator Muhammad Ismail Buledi and Qari Mehboob Ur Rehman were also present on this occasion. Sardar Muhammad Yousaf and Professor Sajjad Qamar congratulated Senator Muhammad Talha Mehmood on assuming the charge of the Ministry and expressed the hope that he will serve the pilgrims well, as he has been serving the people inside and outside the country. The government of Saudi Arabia is making significant efforts for the Haj pilgrims and every year the arrangements are better than before. Federal Minister for Religious Affairs and Safran Senator Muhammad Talha Mehmood thanked Sardar Muhammad Yousaf and Professor Sajjad Qamar.
He said, “Residences in Makkah and Madinah are being acquired at a lower rate than in 2019 and the system will be cleaned and transparent”.
Everyone can come and give an agreement. I will not tolerate even one riyal. I have given a clear message to the members of the Hajj Mission to perform their services with integrity. In case of a complaint, punishments will be given by Islamic orders in Saudi Arabia, he said.
Hajj is a department in the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony. Apart from this, there are many departments and big tasks to be done. I will revive this ministry completely, he concluded.
