TANK: Bajaur police should focus on their responsibilities instead of harassing journalists, action should be taken against the police officers who misbehave with journalists. Central Chairman of Tribes Union of Journalists Ordeen Mehsud strongly condemned SHO Saeedur Rehman for harassing and preventing local journalists from performing their professional duties while reporting on the incident of a five-year-old girl being burnt in Bajaur yesterday. He said that along with the good performance of government institutions, journalists fulfill their duty by presenting public issues to the rulers and reporting impartially. Coming down to personal matters, Central Chairman Ordeen Mehsud demanded the Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to take action against SHO Saeedur Rehman involved in misbehavior with journalists and bring him to justice.
