Writ petition against Rawalpindi Development Authority heard by Justice Tanveer Sultan

Rawalpindi,  (Parliament Times)  : The writ petition against Rawalpindi Development Authority was heard by Justice Tanveer
Sultan in Lahore High Court Rawalpindi Bench. The writ petition was filed by citizen Malik Umeer Iftikhar under Article 199 of the Constitution of Pakistan by Chaudhry Zaheer Akhtar Advocate and Malik Saleh
Muhammad Advocate. The petitioner’s lawyers took the stand in the court that an illegal housing society called Saffron City is encroaching on our agricultural land. Building Housing Society on Land Rawalpindi City Master Plan is not done yet Building Housing Society without Master Plan is injustice to Rawalpindi
City while RDA rules do not allow it but still Saffron City is our land. The court has asked the RDA to submit a detailed report on the matter by March 30.
