Provincial Minister for Industries & Commerce SM Tanveer visits district Chiniot
LAHORE: On the instructions of Chief Minister Punjab, Provincial Minister for Industries and Commerce SM Tanveer visited district Chiniot and along with Commissioner Faisalabad Silwat Saeed visited various distribution points of free flour. Deputy Commissioner Asif Raza gave the briefing to provincial minister regarding prevision of free flour to deserving families. The provincial minister reviewed the availability and quality of free flour at various distribution points.
Speaking on the occasion, Provincial Minister for Industries and Commerce SM Tanveer said that the Punjab government has given a historic Ramadan package to provide relief to the people in the month of Ramadan. The initiative of the government to provide free flour is commendable. He said that the complaints of providing substandard flour will not be accepted in any case. A meeting of traders and farmer representatives was also held in the deputy commissioner’s office under the chairmanship of the provincial minister. Divisional commissioner Silwat Saeed, deputy commissioner Muhammad Asif Raza and others participated in the meeting. The provincial minister listened to the problems of farmers and traders and took suggestions for their solution. On this occasion, the provincial minister said that he had come to Chiniot to find out the problems of traders and farmers on the instructions of the Chief Minister of Punjab. No effort will be spared to solve the problems of traders and farmers. He said that the government will solve the problems of farmers and traders and the suggestions will also be implemented. The provincial minister said that the government will take farmers and traders together and their problems will be solved. He also met the businessmen and traders and assured them all kinds of support from the government. The provincial minister also inaugurated Jamia Masjid SM Munir in the private society Deen Garden.
