He said that unfortunately Kashmir case was lying pending as unresolved global issue for last 75 years because of India’s traditional betrayal and denial from international norms and commitments about the just and principled settlement of the Kashmir conflict.

He paid rich tributes to Kashmiris especially those living in the bleeding Indian illegally occupied Jammu Kashmir State for continuing their much prolonged struggle for liberation of the motherland from Indian yoke giving the supreme sacrifices of their lives and properties – suffering the long reign of state terrorism, violence and the worst human rights abuses at the hands of over a million of Indian occupational forces in the state, who, he underlined, have turned the occupied valley into the biggest prison on the planet. “These sacrifices being given by our brethren and sisters in Indian occupied Jammu Kashmir for the freedom of their motherland from Indian unlawful occupation are unprecedented in the freedom struggles launched so far in the world”, he observed.

The Advisor to PM Pakistan for Kashmir Affairs and GB further said that India could not quell brave Kashmiris high moral and spirit of freedom of their homeland from Indian yoke despite inflicting history’s worst kinds of brutalities and state terrorism.

Kaira said that it was enjoined upon to raise the Kashmir case before the world in maximum possible better form. Pakistan, he underlined, always firmly supported Kashmiris struggle for the achievement of their internationally recognized birth right to self determination.

“Non of the governments of Pakistan had ever lag behind the Kashmiris cause of freedom nor the future governments could ever do so in view of the fact that Kashmiris freedom struggle is in fact the struggle for completion of Pakistan”, he declared adding that Pakistan would continue safeguarding its jugular vein Kashmir.

Kaira said that Kashmiris were very much loyal and patriot Pakistanis rising above to other patriot Pakistanis since the hearts of the people of Pakistan and Jammu Kashmir state beat in unison – since the Kashmiris already proved by giving the sacrifices for the progress, prosperity and defense of Pakistan as and when needed, he added.

Referring to the current internal political situation of the country, Qamar Zaman Kaira said that dialogue was always the best way to resolve the issues. He said that the government believed in moving to address the political situation through dialogue and not through any deadlock, he added.

He said that since the general elections process has started in the country, we would like to hold the elections simultaneously in all four provinces of the country besides the elections in Azad Jammu Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan assemblies for emergence of the like-minded governments in AJK and GB as a result of the fresh polls both in GB and AJK, in larger interests of the populations of the two regions.
