Islamabad, (Parliament Times): After the Pakistan Super League, another big cricket festival for cricket fans Markhor Ramadan Cup Rawalpindi will start on March 31 in Rawalpindi in which the PSL stars will once again be in action. The dates and prizes of the second edition of the Markhor Ramadan Cup 2023 Cricket Tournament organized by Kashmir Kings and AHF Army Heritage Foundation have been announced. According to the details, preparations for the Markhor Ramadan Cup are going on in full swing at Ayub National Stadium Rawalpindi. Sixteen teams from across the country will participate in Markhor Ramadan, which has been divided into four groups. The opening ceremony of the Markhor Ramadan Cup will be held on March 31 through an exhibition match in which Pakistan’s star cricketers will be in action. Pakistan’s test cricketers will participate in both teams. Chairman Kashmir Kings Nisar Ahmed Shaikh said that this year the prize money of the Ramadan Cup has been doubled, while cash prizes have been kept for the winning and losing teams in every match for all the teams involved in the tournament. Two large SMD will be installed in Ayub National Stadium for the convenience of the public and arena lights will be installed in the stadium to bring the lights to international standards. All the matches of the markhor Ramadan Cup will be covered live while other major channels in Pakistan will also cover this event. Chairman Nisar Ahmad Shaikh further said that the purpose of organizing the event will be to promote the cause of Kashmir as well as to provide opportunities for young players to play with international stars so that they would showcase their talent with national stars, the best performance in the tournament. Big cash prizes, including a motorcycle, have been given to the players who have demonstrated.
