Commissioner Mrs. Silwat Saeed directs to establish desk to facilitate real register people fir Flour Distribution

FAISALABAD: The Commissioner Mrs. Silwat Saeed has directed to establish the desk to facilitate the real registered people not having chipped National identity card and said that through updated system the eligibility of people should be checked. She further directed the staff of BISP should also be present on the distribution center for guidance the people regarding new registration. She directed these instruction while visiting different distribution centers were checked along with the Deputy Commissioner Ali Anan Qamar and checked the process of free flour to the registered people. The Commissioner went to Kaleem Shaheed Park, Hockey Stadium, Model Bazar Jhang road and other points and talked to the women and men present on the spot and inquired about the arrangements of getting flour.
She said that other minor problems that have come up are also being solved on priority basis. She ordered the for shaded waiting areas for the registered women and men of the Benazir Income Support Program and instructions for ample supply of drinking water. She said that women police personnel should also be posted at the centers while additional counters should be set up to manage the rush. She said that those who come to take free flour will get better and better arrangements every day.
The divisional and district administration is actively working in this regard. The Deputy Commissioner informed about the arrangements at the distribution points and said that the shortage is being removed by periodically checking the arrangements at 44 points in the district including five major centers in the city. He informed that new center is being established at Iqbal Stadium. Assistant Commissioner City Muhammad Zubair was also with him.
