Such a large number of people in the occupied valley are deprived of basic rights, but it is a pity. The international community and the United Nations are not considering any serious action.On August 5, 2019, India encroached on the civil rights of Kashmiris in Occupied Kashmir by committing constitutional terrorism and took steps to make Kashmiris strangers in their homeland like the Palestinian residents. The Article 370 of the Constitution of India gave Kashmir a special status from other states of India and under it, the laws of India could be applied in any matter other than defense, communications, and foreign affairs without the ratification of the central government or the state government in a parliamentary state. The issue of Kashmir has gone back to the position of 1948. By banning the Internet, the Modi government wanted to keep the world ignorant of the atrocities committed by Indian forces on Kashmiris. India continued to increase the number of its army to establish its control over Kashmir, even though the United Nations Resolution No. 47 obliged India to keep only enough troops to maintain law and order while illegally occupying Kashmir. The deployment of the Indian army has exceeded nine lakh, but the Indian government could not change the decision of the Kashmiris even after seventy years of the worst oppression and exploitation. The silence of the international community is momentary. The world should change its terrible duplicity and policy. The government of Pakistan should abandon the reconciliation policy and talk to India in India’s language. Occupied Kashmir will be free, and there should be no compromise on Kashmiri freedom, he said.In his address, the Prime Minister stressed forgetting the differences and uniting for the sake of national security.
