ATTOCK: The management of Rifah International University College Attock campus on Saturday has announced higher education scholarship for the children of the working journalists. The principal of Rifah International College Rao Talash Badar and senior journalists from Attock have also signed a Memorandum of Understanding in an impressive ceremony held here in Attock which was also attended by a delegation of senior journalists Mr. Javed Kashmiri, Dr. Liaquat Munir Qaderi, President Punjab Press Club Attock (Regd) Mr. Tariq Mehmood, General Secretary, Haji Mumtaz Hussain Taj, Joint Secretary Mr. Qamar Abbas Jahfri, Mr. Ayaz Khan, Mr. Faheem Nehmat Khattak, Mr. Javed Khattak, Mr. Javed Akhtar Awan, Baghi Farhan Aslam, Mr. Adan Khan and Vice Chairman Attock Union of Journalist Mr. Rashid Awais. The principal Rao Talash Badar while highlighting the salient features of the College has told that this college was launched in 2021 with maximum enrolment for boys and girls students in intermediate up to BSC levels. He said that the educational charges in different programs of their college are more less than the other institutions running in Attock. The principal Rao Talash Badar committed that the children of the journalistic community will be exempted from admission fees and annual charges instead of 30% on the total charges throughout their academic session in pursuance of the MOU. Earlier, the journalistic community was also introduced with the curriculum and extra curriculum facilities of the college. The visiting journalists have also appreciated the good will offer of the college management with an example to be followed by other educational institutions, as well.
