Rawalpindi, (Parliament Times) : Real estate sector can revolutionize the economy of Pakistan. This sector needs the attention of government circles and government agencies. This sector needs to be trusted. The real estate sector can generate billions of dollars in direct investment. These views were expressed by Adil Nawaz Bhatti, General Secretary of Real Estate Consultants Association (RECA) while addressing the meeting. Adil Nawaz Bhatti said that the heavy burden on Pakistan’s economy can come down in a few months. There is a shortage of 5 million houses in Pakistan. A government-private partnership can revolutionize this sector. Overseas Pakistanis have immense confidence in this sector. He said that there is a need to regulate this sector and give it the status of a regular industry. The Real Estate Regulatory Authority Act should be implemented immediately to give this industry an opportunity to play its role in the development of the country. The real estate sector is the path to recovery of the country’s economy and the way out of the current situation
