FAISALABAD: No compromise or pressure will be accepted regarding the health of the nation.
Law enforcement agencies have to be vigilant at all times to eliminate social evils rising up day by day.
A major operation was carried out by the police against drug dealers in order to promote a healthy society. Undoubtedly, the drugs are the scourge of society that every organization should play its vital & active role in eradicating narcotics spreading anywhere. So far as we don’t take required action, we might be deprived of healthful manpower mandatory for nation building. In this context, night and day by the police all necessary actions are ongoing on but such people must pay special attention to their relations indulging in these illicit drug abuse. Drug trafficking and its use is a crime that destroys generations and insists on securing their future at all costs.
According to the details, the statement of the Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, the Faisalabad Police is conducting a grand crackdown against drugs and its sellers across the district. City Police Officer Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi has not only formed special teams to take action against drug dealers, but also the CIA has been tasked in this regard.
According to further details, a press conference was held today in Police Lines Complex regarding the recovery of drugs, in which SSP Operations Muhammad Arslan Shahzeb appreciated the action of Thana Sandal Bar Police and said that the Sandal Bar Police closed the blockade. More than 100 kg of opium was recovered from a car during which a woman has been arrested and a case has been registered. Further investigation is underway. City police are active against drug peddlers. Blockades and patrolling have been increased so that criminal elements do not get a chance to thrive. But the SP Iqbal Division Irtza Kamil was also present to contribute their views.
