Adhocism is a menace in AJK

AJK PSC is considered the state machinery which plays an important role in developing the future of brilliant and competent youth. Adhocism is not only menace but it reformed itself as a dragon to chew the rights and justice of youth since long. Ad-hoc appointments in AJK totally depend on the vote culture of ministers. They bless jobs to their favorite voters to confirm their own seat for tenure of 5 years of luxuries. Quota system is not also behind to ruin the life brilliant youth. Most of the seats are hidden on the name of promotion and seniority. As a result, qualified candidates do not get equal chance to appear in AJK PSC against any post. Their future is in danger and threatened by this unruly drama. In the start Ad-hoc and contract employees are blessed jobs for six months without any test and interview. Later they get extension after every six months, as a result they claim their service 5 years and 10 years etc. Your majesty where is your justice when Mr. Tanveer Ilyas sb announced to bless the ad-hoc employees with permanent positions without any criteria. Our laws and policies are transparent to provide equal chance to all the educated people against any post. Ad-hoc employees are not only snatching equal rights but they are equally responsible to weaken the pillars of the state. AJK PSC is not able to conduct the exams regularly. Take the example of senior teacher general posts, which were published back in 2018, but its exams were conducted on 3rd and 4th of September in 2022. The qualified candidates faced 4 to 5 stays after the announcement of written result due to interference of ad-hoc employees.. The interview is still pending, even no news of short listing is disclosed yet. As a result educated youth is desperate. Same like, the test against headmistress post is not being taken since 2018 due to pressure of ad-hoc headmistress employees. Every day they reach the court to take stay. What is the burden on AJK PSC. Similarly, exam for the post of AC was held in 2015, we have reached to 2023 but exam is not revised yet. Then what type of bureaucrats the state is producing on the base of promotion only or hidden appointments. It is wrong to say that minters and authorities are blessing either their families and relatives or their favorite persons for the sake of vote. Dozens of positions are vacant, but inefficiency of AJK civil service is not hidden from the youth. The government feel proud to acknowledge the ad-hoc appointments. Alas to mention here that the even the degrees of 90 % ad-hoc employees are not up to mark. 3rd division holders are enjoying the jobs of 17 and 18 grades and on the other hand, M.phil and Ph.d scholars are either jobless or they are compelled to do work in private sectors on very low wages. Government’s blessing and showers are only for those who are not even able to pass NTS for primary teacher post. The successive governments in the state have been ignoring the merit and allowing backdoor entries to their favorite persons. Miserable condition is that now the drivers are being given the 16 grades on the name of good performance. This has contributed to the declining standards in the proficiency of the state. In this hour of darkness, where are our courts to announce a decision equality and merit. Those who are trying to make the merit cripple, they should be punished and charged in this regard. It should be moral and vigilant duty of AJK PSC to conduct the exams regularly to remove the frustration from youth. Thousands of candidates have applied for their better future and they are waiting for the generosity of high court, supreme court and other dutiful authorities. Recently made announcement of PM Tanveer Ilyas is not less than the black ad-hoc act made by former PM Farooq Haider. Hopefully this decision of PM AJK will be reversed to provide equal rights to vibrant and enterprising youth.
