MUZAFFARABAD, (Parliament Times) : Azad Jammu and Kashmir Election Commission has modified the ongoing schedule for specific seats after local body elections 2022. According to the revised schedule issued by the Election Commission of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, polling will be held on February 4 from 10 am to 2 pm on the specific seats of the local government elections. Nomination papers for the seats of women, youth and farmers in the various councils of local elections will be held from 18 to 23 January 2023. Submissions can be made by 3 p.m. These papers will be examined and scrutinized on January 2023. Appeals against the rejection of nomination papers can be filed before the tribunal on 25 to 26 January 2023. Decisions on these appeals will be given on 27 and 28 January 2023. 30th January 2023 Candidates will be able to withdraw their nomination papers till 2pm and the final list of candidates will be released on 30th January 2023 after 2pm. Polling will be held from 10:00 am to 02:00 pm on February.
