As this novel is totally written about not to give up in life and determine that you have to reach at your destination,even there are pros and cons ,but you should pursue your destination,So this novel tells that you can achieve your destination sooner or later. So carry on until achieve it and keep listening to your heart ,and don’t listen to people what they say about you. As Shatiago was Shepherd who used to graze the sheeps.He was also fond of reading .he always had books with him wherever he went. Once he dreamt that there is a lot of treasure for him in pyramids which is in Egypt. for deciphering his dream,He went to a old lady who used to tell about omens . The boy asked old woman to decipher of his dream. the woman told the boy that there is treasure you. So go and explore it as soon as you can,and woman asked the boy to promise to give her 1/10 of the treasure.boy agreed. Time passed as usual but the boy didn’t contemplate on the omen and carried on what he was already doing. Then he again meet an old man in his journey .He also spent some time with that old man who was also knew how to decipher the Omen so the boy told the whole story to that old man. the old man said if you gave him half of his sheep’s then I will tell you about your dream .the boy agreed and did what he Said . the old man told the same omen of having treasure which he was already told by woman . The boy startled the and that there might be treasure for him so he commenced his journey in search of his treasure. He faced many obstacles in way of his Destination. Sometimes, he thought of giving up but in way, he met such great humanitarian and skillful people who encourage him to keep on pursuing his Destination in the way of his destination; he worked for few months in the crystal shop where he was also motivated by the shop owner where he used to work. he earned the fame and aa lot money to reach at his destination so from there he joined a caravan which was passing through from the crystal shop. In that caravan the boy met an English man whom he didn’t tell Purpose of journey As the Englishman dream for what he were traveling through desert. the boy also had great exchange of ideas with the Englishman who traveled with him in caravan. Caravan was passing through the desert towards its destination but in middle of desert, the caravan stopped because there was war between tribes so they encamped their tent in oasis where the boy came to know about alchemist. In the search of Alchemist, boy went to the well to inquire about Alchemist. He met there with beautiful girl whose name was Fatima. Slowly the boy totally fallen in love with that girl and expressed his love. They both liked each other. Amid this the boy totally forgot his Destination. He wanted to live in oasis forever and never go far from Fatima. Then the boy met alchemist who helped the boy to reach his destination. Alchemist convinced the boy to go with him to pursue his destiny, but the boy was not agreed because his loved ones was the woman of desert. At last he agreed to give with Alchemist. They left caravan and started their journey. Both mounted on horses and continued. They both faced many hardship. Many barriers came ahead them, but they combat with all barricades with bravery and remaind persistent. Soon in the way, They were surrounded by the war man in the desert because there had been war between tribes. They also got rid of from there after three day. Then both mounted on their Horses and continued their journey. Finally Alchemist said by to they boy and gave him gold which alchemist made from lead into gold which alchemist divided among four. The boy continued going towards his destination alone and listening to his heart what it said to do,he accepted. finally he reached at dune of sand where he found nothing there and the treasure is available where from he departed .he went back to church and found the untold treasure. in a nut shell,Never give up ,you can achieve whatever you want in life .
