Muzaffarabad, (Parliament Times) : A rally was organized in the capital Muzaffarabad on the occasion of Independence Day organized by Khadija Zarin Khan Foundation. Speakers and critics say that the United Nations will have to fulfill the agreement made with Kashmiris seven decades ago.
The freedom movement for the completion of Kashmiris for Pakistan will continue to reach its goal. According to the details, after the public communication campaign organized by Khadija Zareen Khan Foundation in connection with the “Right to Self-Determination Day” across Muzaffarabad, the rally started from Chehla Bridge near Sadar Police Station and the participants of the rally went to the UN Office through Gojra Nalochhi Chattar where they gathered in large numbers and recorded their protest. The protesters also presented a petition to the United Nations Military Observer Mission. Later, the rally ended by going to Burhan Muzaffar Wani Chowk outside the Central Press Club.
According to the organizers, the purpose of this rally is to unite with the oppressed Kashmiris of Occupied Kashmir and to demand from the international powers that the United Nations implement its approved resolutions and give Kashmiris their basic right of self-determination.
On this occasion, Program Coordinator KZ Foundation Malik Asim Sarfaraz said that a large number of youths of Muzaffarabad participated in the rally with their vehicles and motorcycles and protested outside the United Nations office.
