Mian Rashid Asghar.
FAISALABAD: Collapsing the industry will prove the death warrant for the whole nation. Sheer a moment negligence from any corner would create huge unemployment causing the emergence of breakage of norms and values.
The Chairman, All Pakistan Textile Processing Mills Association ( APTPMA) Faisalabad Region Hafiz Sheikh Mohammad Asghar Qadri has expressed his deep concern and further said that the industry is standing on the edge of destruction, here on one side the containers are stopped and on the other side, the new LCs of raw materials are not being opened.
The government’s decision to shut down gas from 15th January 2023 will prove as dangerous as catching fire for the country, because there would be no availability of bread and butter easily.
The major issues like the Energy issues, debt management, revolving credit and fiscal deficit are the mega challenges that the industrialists and traders have to pay a heavy price for this hurley burley situation.
He said adding this, while addressing the APTPMA meeting. The Former Central Chairman Sheikh Muhammad Amjad, Senior Member Mian Abdul Latif, Former Regional Chairman Chaudhry Habib Ahmed, Sheikh Shahid Javed, Muhammad Ahmed, Executive Committee members Ghulam Jilani, Basharat Ali, Naveed Munir and senior members Bau Muhammad Akram, Abdul Qayyum, Abdul Ghaffar, Bilal Ahmed, Muhammad Nauman, Muhammad Imran, Murtaza Nazir and other executives were also present and sparkled their views, how to get rid of such anarchy.
They said that the government should take immediate and timely measures to open new LCs including the maintenance of stalled containers so that the wheels of industries might run & flow.
He said that other challenges including energy are interlinked causing the destruction of young industries. Citing examples of countries like South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia and Bangladesh, he said that due to continued extraordinary economic policies, exports had grown up and left Pakistan behind. He said that the government should immediately redress these challenges. Effective policies should be implemented for the country, otherwise such a storm of unemployment, inflation and economic recovery will come in the country which will not only be difficult to handle but impossible to manage.
So it the duty of every one to save the backbone in order to stand smoothly.
