Force conversation is a major issue in Pakistan. It occurs when someone is coerced into doing something against their will. This can take the form of physical violence, threats, verbal abuse, and psychological manipulation. It is an ongoing problem in Pakistan and is often perpetrated by men against women, or by individuals in positions of power against vulnerable people. Forced conversion has been used as a tool of oppression by extremists to target religious minorities, particularly those belonging to the Christian faith. It has also been used to control women and girls, often resulting in their forced marriages to men of different faiths. Forced conversion is a violation of human rights and is illegal in Pakistan. The government has taken steps to address the issue, including introducing legislation that criminalizes the practice and offering protection to victims. However, more needs to be done to ensure that perpetrators are held accountable and victims are given the support they need to move forward with their lives.
