In Kashmir valley today, a major sect of people including youth sit idle in the streets and meddle with the meaningless matters and do a nonsense to themselves. Such souls fail to facilitate their talents and aggregate what we call as stupidity if it is the necessity of the hour to be done some good and grateful. But at the same time, the valley has been bestowed by a great variety of people who leave no stone unturned to invent ways and means and promote new ideas and aims to the valley and the world. Such people drink their sweats and blood to be on the apex of their desired goals and become mirrors for others. Among such legends is a legendary name of Mr.Tariq Ahmad Shera whose life from his childhood is revolving around the peace, love and prosperity of the valley as well as the Nation.Mr.Tariq Ahmad Shera, a name known to every kashmiri is the symbol of future of Kashmir. He may also be called a “SUMBAL” whose fragrance frames the whole dale. Mr.Tariq Ahmad Shera, a social activist/cultural activist, approved Drama artist (DDK and AIR) , founder and president of Angel’s Cultural Academy Shahre Khaas Literary & Cultural Welfare Society, Shahr e Khaas Film Production and Meeras e Kashmir hails from Drabiyar, Habba Kadal Srinagar.Talking about his educational qualifications, Mr Tariq Ahmad Shera has pursued M.SC Mathematics and B.ED from Kashmir University with the degree of MA Urdu(MANUU) as well. Mr Tariq Ahmad Shera from his childhood has high aspirations of social activities which he is performing with the present sews of the clock. After completing his educational journey, Mr.Tariq Ahmad Shera being already full of zeal and zest for social work started working for the progress of the valley in different Spheres . From his childhood, he performed various social and cultural programs on various topics like drug addiction, discipline, typicality of Kashmir etc which have eulogized by various institutions of the valley. “My parents always supported me to come front and showcase my talent to the world” , said Mr Tariq Ahmad Shera. Mr Tariq Ahmad Shera after sucking his sweats laid foundation of two main cultural academies namely Angel’s Cultural Academy Srinagar and Shahr e Khaas Literary & Cultural Welfare Society which came into being just to provide plate form to the talented youth of Kashmir for showing their talents in respective fields. These two organizations have become idols for the budding artists to move on and showcase their talents. Besides running these organization’s, i.e Angel’s Cultural Academy Srinagar and Shahr e Khaas Literary & Cultural Welfare Society, Mr Tariq Ahmad Shera sees himself as an inborn artist who has worked in several Kashmiri serials and jokes ratified by TV channels like Tuj, Bangool, Hateh Honeh Khete Zang, Wutribunul,Laar e Laar etc. He has also sought his hands in various web series and bollywood films like Laila Majnu, Sarhad, Enigma of Paradise etc.and many music albums.To his credit, Mr Tariq Ahmad Shera has won various National & State awards like: 1:Real Hero Awardee 2021 and 2022 2: Young Achievers Award 2021 3: UNESCO Awardee 2021 4: Social Worker Awardee 5: Cultural Activist Awardee “ It is me whose blood boils when I see people indulging in so many anti social and cultural activities” , said Mr.Tariq Ahmad Shera. Keeping this in view, Mr.Tariq Ahmad Shera initiated so many social and cultural awareness programmes to make Kashmir the same place about which the great philosopher and writer, Firdousi said,: “If there is a paradise on earth It is this, it is this , it is this” So Mr.Tariq Ahmad Shera always Strives to promote the talent of people especially youth by organising different social and cultural programmes and make ways easier for them by bearing all the hurdles and hindrances by himself. Recently, Mr.Tariq Ahmad Shera held a handsome programme (PHOLWEN TOOR on 3rd December 2022)at SP college Srinagar against drug addiction where a large number of esteemed dignitaries provided awareness among the people in general and the youth in particular about the drawbacks of drug addiction. Having such a high dignitary in our society, it is the need of the hour to appreciate Mr.Tariq Ahmad Shera who the running clock works for the welfare of the society.
