MIRPUR (AJK), (Parliament Times) : Regional Director of National University of Modern Languages (NUML) Colonel (Retd) Raja Tahir Najeeb has said that NUML is the fourth largest university in Pakistan. NUML’s campus in Mirpur is the first campus of a university in Azad Kashmir by the federation. The students of Mirpur Division will start getting the quality of education in accordance with the modern requirements of Islamabad University and International Standards in Mirpur itself at their doorstep. The classes in Mirpur NUML Campus will start from 13th February 2023. Students from Azad Kashmir and adjoining areas of Punjab will be able to take admission in this campus. This campus will provide maximum benefit to the middle class people who have to pay the heavy cost of hostel and transportation. Could not afford the expenses.
He expressed these views in a meeting with Divisional Information Officer Mohammad Javed Malik and former Presidential Press Secretary Raja Habibullah Khan. On the instructions of Major General (retd) Muhammad Jafar, Rector of National University of Modern Languages (NIML), Mirpur campus in Azad Kashmir has been instructed to provide all the modern facilities like Islamabad and provide modern equipment and faculty of high caliber. are so that the students of Azad Kashmir should come to this campus and benefit from Islamabad-like education, who will be able to shine the name of Pakistan and Kashmir all over the world. From the Mirpur campus of Namal, where a revolution in educational development will take place.
There, the desire to get international education will grow among talented students. On this occasion, former Press Secretary Raja Habibullah Khan said that the establishment of Mirpur Namal University Campus was brought about by the personal interest of former Corps Commander General Raja Sher Afghan. Sher Afgan has a big vision for education. He wants students from the areas of Punjab adjacent to Mirpur including Mirpur Bhimbar and Kotli to come and study here.
