KARACHI: Pakistan People’s Party Sindh President Senator Nisar Khuhro has said that Imran Khan’s announcement of resignation from the assemblies is an open distrust of democracy, therefore he is becoming a tool of non-democratic forces by becoming undemocratic. He expressed these views while addressing a rally in Azam Basti area of ??Karachi on Monday. He said that Imran Khan has a double standard in politics and he does not want to sit in the opposition, so he wants to create an emotional situation. He said that if Imran Khan was in the government, he would not like the assemblies. Nisar Khuhro said that it is bad for Imran Khan to play the role of the opposition in the Parliament and Houses of Assemblies and it is easy to create a situation of commotion and excitement because Imran Khan does not believe in authoritarian thinking democracy. Nisar Khuhro said that Imran Khan and PTI will soon become a thing of the past and general elections will be held next year after the completion of the term of Parliament. He said that the People’s Party will achieve great success in the second phase of the local bodies elections as well.
