JAHANIAN : The hero of 1971 war hero and the official of Pakistan Army Maj Muhammad Akram’s 51st martyred day will be observed on Dec 05.
In recognition of his courage and bravery Govt of Pakistan awarded him highest military award “Nishan-e-Haider”.
Maj Muhammad Akram was born on 14 April 1938 in Pind-dadan Khan, the area of Jehlum. His father Malik Sakhi Muhammad was the hawaldar in Pak Army.
Maj Muhammad Akram made huge loss to enemy while blasting their tanks on the front of Hli during his deployment in the war days.
Bravely fighting, he was martyred on 5th Dec 1971.
He is was buried in Bangladesh (East Pakistan).
Government of Pakistan has awarded him the highest military award “Nishan-e-Haider”.
