National Record Holder Cyclist Saqib Rehman set the national record for cycling from Multan to Siachen Gyari Sector Till date no one has cycled till Siachen Gyari Saqib Rehman is the first Pakistani to achieve the honour.
Traveled to a height of 15000 thousand feet and managed to make a record in 28 days. Saqib Rehman was supported by Pakistan Army and local Govt. And Saqib named this record after the martyrs of Siachen Gyari and Gargal.
The national flag was presented to Commanding Officer Air Force by Saqib Rehman and Ishraq Nazir. Air Force Command Officer Base Camp Qadri, Syed Ikram Ahmed, Mr. Saqib Rehman and Pakistan’s Ishraq Nazir, who made Pakistan famous in Europe, were awarded certificates of honour.
