A Scornful Family

Is is rightly said that the place of some people does not fill for years. The vaccume can only be filled by the decendents of such people. In the case of Dr. Abdul Samad Achakzai Shaheed, the scenario is dismal. Who continue the legacy of a Martyer of a nation? The sole responsibility lies on the shoulders of his family. But, when materialism, personal gains, and individuality surpass moral and ethical values-when the concept of mine and thine and power struggle emerge, the suffication of relations is not far. That is what happening with the family of the titled personality. Lust and materialism have made all his family members equall to none. The have become shame for Dr. Abdul Samad Achakzai rather than pride. In the midst of non sense competition, the continuation of the legacy and fulfillment of the dreams of the deceased is no where. The tug of war among them has made them laughing stock. He was a staunch and clear headed nationalist. He was a true humanist and a tribal pacifist. What had to be done by his family was to carry on his admirable services, unfortunately, these dreams have remained dreams yet. How shamful is that, his martyrdom anniversary has not be celebrated for years. When the questions of some political benefits arise, all lustful members run after that and connect themselves with Dr. Achakzai. Shamlessness. He was non materialistic who supported huge family, the old and poor brothers. He was the epitome of providing education to the whole family youth including me. Would he been alived at least i muself and his two sons would have been on good positions not becuase of any corrupt practice but becuase of his intelligence- owing to the career counseling and his guidance. His departure has made us rudderless. Lust and materialism have swept sway the lagecy and the sacrifice on the part of the family of Dr. Abdul Samad Achakzai,s martyrdom from the family. His Irreparable loss has brought his family on the verge of devestation. The deceased has done his job. He is in the hearts and souls of the common people. What should have been done was that his family should have lustered his name rather they family name itself is becoming a source of shame for Dr. Achakzai. They have ruined their political and tribal status. The family has become a black sting. Scornful, Shamful, disgraceful, and useless. I am ashamed and apologist. Though, I am proud to be your nephew. But louche to be a cuzon, a brother, and a nephew of others.
