Historic visit of President of Islamic Republic of Pakistan Dr. Arif Alvi and Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan, Inauguration of several projects initiated by private company MTBC, Chairman MTBC Mahmoodul Haque of Kashmir Airlines. The license was granted and the first airline of Azad Kashmir (Kashmir Airline) was also inaugurated by the President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and the Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir.
For the first time in the history of the state, the airline was inaugurated, which is not only a source of happiness for the people of the state, but this airline will give a big boost to the state revenue, due to the difficulties of tourists from all over the world who do not reach Azad Kashmir. Now they will easily come to see the high peaks of Azad Kashmir and it is possible that if such measures continue, Azad Kashmir will develop a lot in terms of tourism. TBC took place in Bagh. Dr. Arif Alvi of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan inaugurated Kashmir Air’s commercial helicopter flight service to promote tourism in Azad Jammu and Kashmir. Kashmir Airlines is a private company that is going to start commercial helicopter flights to Azad Jammu and Kashmir and northern areas of Pakistan for tourist transportation. During his visit to Azad Jammu and Kashmir, the President inaugurated a helicopter flight service, visited a newly established private school in Bagh and the flagship campus of a healthcare information technology company. On this occasion, the President was briefed about the establishment of a hospital in Abbaspur. Addressing the inauguration ceremony of the helicopter service, the President said that Azad Jammu and Kashmir is blessed with natural beauty and immense tourism potential, the private sector should come forward for the development of the tourism sector of Azad Jammu and Kashmir. It should be used to its full potential. He urged the Government of Azad Jammu and Kashmir to develop tourism-friendly policies to facilitate private sector investment besides promoting sustainable and eco-friendly tourism. He said that tourism has become the backbone of many developing economies of the world and is considered as an important means of earning foreign exchange, creating employment opportunities, accelerating the development process and reducing economic disparity. He emphasized on adopting an integrated approach for tourism planning in Azad Jammu and Kashmir, adding that apart from establishing linkages between stakeholders, businesses, resources and tourism activities, the economic, social and economic impact of tourism on the region. And environmental impacts should be carefully assessed.
The President said that Pakistan has immense human resources in the form of youth and women who with relevant skills and training can become an asset to the national economy in the future. He emphasized on the need to impart technical and vocational skills and training to the youth of Azad Jammu and Kashmir in the field of tourism and hospitality to provide gainful employment to the youth especially women in their own region. He said that the adoption of IT tools and artificial intelligence will help in marketing the tourism assets of Azad Jammu and Kashmir as well as providing information, online booking facilities and tourism packages to domestic and foreign tourists in Azad Jammu and Kashmir. It can help in the development and promotion of tourism sector. He said that the IT sector can help achieve rapid economic growth with little investment. During the school visit, the President lauded the private sector for providing quality education to the students of Azad Jammu and Kashmir which will help improve the quality of education. The President stressed on investing in the IT sector and said that the developments in the IT sector have opened new avenues for the empowerment of women and now they are using the latest ICT tools to lead the world. All over the world can offer their services online. He said that Meta (Facebook) has trained more than 5000 women to market their products and services online. He added that 2.4 million people benefited from the Prime Minister’s Digital Skills programme, which was attended by people from various educational backgrounds. The President highlighted that women should be encouraged to join the workforce in all sectors including tourism which would lead to the development of the tourism sector of Azad Jammu and Kashmir and economic empowerment of women. He said that efforts should be made to increase the employment rate and economic contribution of women. He said that Islam has reserved the share of women in inheritance, but unfortunately, women are being deprived of their right in different parts of our country. Expressing his views while visiting the flagship campus in Bagh, he said that this campus will provide high quality healthcare facilities to the people of Azad Jammu and Kashmir. He emphasized that telemedicine can provide quality health services to people in remote areas at their doorsteps, keeping in mind the hilly landscape of Azad Jammu and Kashmir. During his visit, he was also briefed about the establishment of a hospital at Abbaspur which is providing quality health services to the people of Azad Jammu and Kashmir. The President said that Pakistan is committed to providing moral, political and diplomatic support to the people of Jammu and Kashmir under Indian illegal occupation and the international community and international organizations are requested to comply with the resolutions of the United Nations Security Council and the resolution of Jammu and Kashmir. Speaking at this event, the Prime Minister of the Azad Government of Jammu and Kashmir, Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan, said that the inauguration of the Kashmir Airline and local body elections after many decades are the work of Tehreek-e-Insaf which no one has been able to do till date. The resettlement of refugees is a peace of mind by increasing the living allowance. The service of humanity is to solve the problems of the common man at his doorstep. Imran Khan is following the vision given by him. If the funds were invested with honesty, today we would have come out of the basic problems and progressed forward. With the promotion of tourism, the unemployed youth of the state will be given decent jobs. The efforts of Mehmood-ul-Haq are worthy of praise. A strategy has been prepared for dignified employment of women. More than 6,000 women will be provided employment through Tuta and other institutions. which will not only end unemployment but also increase revenue, Sardar Tanveer Ilyas said that ten billion rupees have been allocated for the settlement of refugees and the construction of solid houses for the first installment of every work. He said that local body elections will solve the problems of the common man. I was even told to choose between local body elections or the government. Why not, he said, has restarted the Mir Dry Port project, which had been in limbo for 32 years, at an initial cost of Rs 1 billion. He said that works like stability of readers and employment for women are historical initiatives of Tehreek-e-Insaf government, they are preparing strategies keeping the poor and common man in front, serving humanity is our priority. After the visit of the President of Pakistan and the Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir, the people of the entire state, including Bagh district, are happy. Amen.
