A detailed meeting between Ali Amin and Gulbar regarding healthcare
ISLAMABAD, (Parliament Times) : Gilgit-Baltistan Health Minister Haji Gulbar Khan called on Federal Minister Ali Amin Khan Gandapur in Islamabad today. During the meeting, detailed discussions were held regarding the health sector in Gilgit-Baltistan. On the occasion, the Federal Minister said that previous governments had completely neglected the health sector in Gilgit-Baltistan, due to which the people of Gilgit-Baltistan became deprived of health care. He said that the rulers of previous periods showed green gardens to the people of Gilgit-Baltistan barely to the extent of announcements while our government has provided funds for major projects in Gilgit-Baltistan. The Federal Minister said that the health sector has been given top priority in the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan. He said that steps are being taken to provide all the basic facilities to all the basic health units of Gilgit-Baltistan to the major hospitals. The first step is to ensure CT scan, ultrasound machines, laboratories and modern beds in all hospitals. Moreover, Gilgit-Baltistan Health Minister Haji Gulbar Khan thanked the federal government for paying special attention to the health sector for the people of Gilgit-Baltistan and said that the Prime Minister should provide health justice cards to the people of Gilgit-Baltistan. The announcement is a revolutionary step that will go a long way in alleviating the poor plight of the people. He vowed to bring about a welcome change in the health sector of Gilgit-Baltistan with the cooperation of the federal government while fulfilling the trust of the people. “We will work day and night for the betterment of people”, he concluded.
