Rawalakot, (Parliament Times): A solemn ceremony was held in Government Girls Middle School, Daridha Dhamni, in reference to the 75th foundation day of Azad Kashmir. The Chief Guest of the ceremony was Sardar Tasif Shahin, President of the School Teacher Organization, while former Minister of State Sardar Abid Hussain Abid presided over the ceremony. District Education Officer and Deputy Education Officer Niswan Poonch, Divisional, Tehsil Sadar Tarakhil teachers and students participated in the event. Teacher Nasreen Zafar performed the duties of Nizamat, while the President of the institution Farida Rahim, while presenting the letter of thanks, she paid tribute to the great personalities who sacrificed for the freedom of this region with reference to the establishment day. Speaking at the ceremony former Government Ministers Sardar Abid Hussain Abid and Sardar Tasif Shaheen said that the Government Girls Middle School is providing excellent services despite the lack of one and a half building and staff.
He also appreciated the talent of the students and congratulated the president teacher and staff members for organizing a good program. The District Education Officer, Deputy Education Officer also appreciated the hard work of President Mulaima along with the staff for conducting a successful program with such limited resources. The guests encouraged the school girls for their great performance. The children were also awarded with prizes for their best performance.
