Muzaffarabad,  (Parliament Times) : Pakistan People’s Party Divisional Senior Vice President Muzaffarabad Khurshid Hussain Kayani has said in a media statement on the occasion of the 17th anniversary of the 2005 Martyrdom Earthquake that not only should we remember the martyrs on this day, but we should also focus our attention on this day. It also highlights how prepared we are to deal with such a disaster. He said that the cries of people trapped under the debris still resonate in these valleys. Even today, the sobs of mothers can be heard from the rubble. Even today, the dilapidated state of educational institutions and the precarious state of security could not attract us. Khurshid Hussain Kayani said that the current government is no less than an earthquake. And the members’ civil work has been done by the armed forces like no one before. He said that soon the people will get rid of the government of fitnah and a people’s government will be established in the real sense. It will start the work of development and prosperity. We are organized and united under the leadership of Jamaat President Chohdi Yasin and Secretary General Faisal Mumtaz Rathore. The martyrs cannot forget the sacrifices of the earthquake in any case.
