PM AJK, law minister apologize ex-PM Raja Farooq Haider Khan over unpleasant incident occurred in Assembly
Muzaffarabad, (Parliament Times) : Prime Minister Azad Kashmir Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan has apologized to former Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan for the unpleasant incident that occurred between Minister of Law and Tourism Sardar Faheem Akhtar Rabbani and Raja Farooq Haider inside the Legislative Assembly today.
In his audio message, Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan has said that he had tendered an apology to Raja Farooq Haider Khan over the phone, which he accepted. “Raja Farooq Haider Khan is a senior politician, I have always respected him from the core of my heart”, the PM said.
The Prime Minister said that it was quite unfortunate an unpleasant incident took place in the Assembly that acerbated the congenial atmosphere of the house. The incident, he said, occurred in the spur of the moment and was not premeditated. “My entire team apologizes to Raja Muhammad Farooq Haider Khan”, he added.
The Prime Minister also urged the workers of PML-N and other political parties to show political magnanimity and play their role in normalizing the situation in the capital city.
Law Minister Faheem Akhtar Rabbani has also apologized to Raja Farooq Haider Khan over the incident.
Meanwhile, the former prime minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan reached Chhatar Chowk and appealed to his followers and Muslim League workers to open all the closed roads. After the appeal of Raja Farooq Haider Khan, all the highways and link roads were opened for traffic.
