KARACHI, (Parliament Times) : President of Council of Pakistan Newspaper Editors (CPNE) Kazim Khan has announced the formation of CPNE’s Constitutional Reforms Committee. According to a statement issued by CPNE Secretary General Aamir Mehmood, the objectives of the Constitutional Reforms Committee are to propose necessary reforms in the CPNE constitution. The committee will forward its recommendations to the Standing Committee of CPNE.
CPNE’s constitutional reform committee will consist of 8 members, whose chairman Ijazul Haq and deputy chairman Irshad Ahmad Arif have been appointed. Other members of the committee include Hamid Hussain Abidi (Daily Aman Karachi), Dr. Jabbar Khattak (Daily Awami Awaz Karachi), Anwar Sajdi (Daily Elektion Quetta), Sardar Khan Niazi (Daily Pakistan Group), Tahir Farooq (Daily Ittehad Peshawar) and Ghulam. Nabi Chandio (Daily Pak Karachi) is included.
