MIRPUR (Parliament Times): “A literate woman can lead to literate entire society through her intellect and pen”, said Mrs. Bilquees Raja, eminent Kashmiri social, political and women rights activist.
Mrs. Bilquees Raja continued that the successful participant ladies of the Adult Education Programs could improve more better conditions of their offspring to contribute for producing fully-educated society, she added.
Mrs. Bilquees Raja, also veteran social and political worker and elder of the United Kingdom – based Kashmiri Diaspora community since decades, further said that being an equal number of the two genders of the society, women can perform a significant role for the overall socio economic progress and prosperity of the country to bring Pakistan in the ranks of the developed nations meeting the challenges of the 21st century.
Earlier she was accorded a rousing reception by the students of the adult education besides the nchd OFFICIALS Asistant Director raja Majid Zia, Field Officer Tariq Gul and others who also briefed the chief guest of the ongoing and upcoming projects of the National Commission for Human Development in Mirpur division and various other parts of Azad Jammu Kashmir.
