Lately, I have got NOC of my brother issued from Federal Board. For this reason, I called the controller office in order to get details regarding NOC, they replied that all information which you want, is available on website of the board. Later on, I visited website of Federal board, read the formalities and started filling the online form of NOC, then they sent me online challan which could be paid through online mobile cash accounts and bank accounts. After completing the formalities just one click on button I received a message from Board, telling me that your NOC has been dispatched and could be reached within 3 stipulated time and also send a facsimile of the original document on given Whatsapp number without logo at that instant. Finally, I received my brother’s NOC just in 3 days. I was amazed to see their online system that they are making the most of internet. On the contrary, there are eight secondary, intermediate and technical boards in Sindh and have been working for many years but they haven’t made any online system for the educational documents. In interior Sindh, many students with their parents come from far flung areas, stay nights in cities and face difficulties for getting certificates from their respective boards. When they reach their respective boards, they have been given exorbitant fees challans. When they reach the bank they have to wait for hours in long ques inside & outside the bank and board office for submission the challan and other attached document. After completing formalities, they are given a date to collect their certificates and they have to come back to get their certificates which is irksome. World has made progress in IT field and shifted educational record online and curtailed the manual work. Boards are autonomous entities and the onus is on respective chairperson that they get set online system for students that they can access to the boards and get their certificates at their thresholds without any inconvenience.
