    FFC’s R&D initiatives of new agri techniques

    Rawalpindi [Parliament Times]: Fauji Fertilizer Company (FFC) has been at the forefront in its endeavors to ensure food security and sustainability in the country through increased efforts pertaining to awareness of farmers, R&D initiatives and introduction of new agri techniques and better approaches to farming for increased agri yields, replenishing micronutrients in the soil.
    The Company’s Research & Development Coordinator, Dr. Munir Zia along with two other co authors has written first ever book on the subject “Micronutrient Fertilizer Use in Pakistan” that has been published by the Taylor & Francis Group, USA and is available worldwide. Publication of this book has brought FFC another honor projecting the Company in the International arena whilst also highlighting FFC’s strength in R&D of micronutrient fertilizers. The book is widely followed by academia, research and extension staff and the industry professionals in Pakistan as well as abroad.
    In recognition of his honor, Dr. Munir Zia has also been appointed as Honorary Associate Professor by the School of Biosciences, University of Nottingham, UK.
