Lahore: Members of the Provincial Assembly Zakia Shahnawaz, Mehwish Sultana and Mian Murghub Ahmed called on Governor Punjab Muhammad Balighur Rehman at Governor House Lahore today.
Speaking on the occasion, Governor Punjab Muhammad Balighur Rehman said that the country is currently facing various challenges including economic problems, but the biggest crisis at the moment is the rehabilitation of the flood victims. He said that the whole country has suffered irreparable damage due to flood disaster. He said that it is our national duty to help the flood-affected brothers and sisters. Governor Punjab said that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif along with all the provincial governments and institutions are making efforts to rehabilitate and help the flood victims.
Punjab Governor Muhammad Balighur Rehman said that the performance, work and service of people is the hallmark of PML-N. He expressed the hope that Insha Allah, very soon the present government will be successful in dealing with all these crises. Governor Punjab urged the members of the provincial assembly to continue the mission of serving the people in their respective constituencies as per the party policy.
Later, Governor Punjab Balighur Rehman while talking to President Anjuman Tajran Hall Road Babar Mehmood said that it is a national duty to help the flood victims. He said that it is commendable that the business community is actively participating in the relief and rehabilitation of the flood victims. Governor Punjab wished Babar Mahmood well on his plan to visit the flood-affected areas and build their houses. He said that every member of the society should play his role to help the flood victims.
Punjab Governor Muhammad Balighur Rehman said that businessmen and industrialists are the backbone of any country’s economy. He said that we all have to work together for the development and prosperity of the country. He said that the Pakistan Muslim League (N) has always solved the problems of the business community on a priority basis. He assured the delegation that he will play his role to solve the problems face by the business community. General Secretary Moazzam Ali Khan and Patron Muhammad Azam were also present in the delegation.
