American Zionist Committee for Public Affairs (AZCPA) was born in 1953 after the massacres of Palestinians in Qibya and surrounding areas to portray Israel regime as the legitimate democratic country. In 1959 it was renamed to AIPAC. AIPAC which has over 500 staffers, an army of lobbyists, lawyers working from over twenty offices across the U.S with over hundreds of million-dollar budget and billion-dollar endowment fund does no wrong and is still the “chosen one.”AIPAC super PACs spend six million to defeat Donna Edwards in Maryland, $4.5 million to help Rep. Harley Steven in House primary while millions have poured in North Carolina, Texas and Pennsylvania races. The creation of AIPAC PACs are undermining democracy and freedom of speech. PACs like the United Democracy Project (UDP) and Urban Empowerment Action (UAE) have endorsed candidates who sign the declaration of support of ZI with millions of dollars.AIPAC financing the opponents with dark money while attacking progressive candidates who are supportive of the peace process between Israeli and Palestinian is wrong and unjust. AIPAC has been funding promoters of Big Lie like Jim Jordan, Scott Perry, Elise Stefanik and many more around the country. AIPAC’s 109 insurrectionist Republican’s endorsements who voted to overturn 2020 elections is beyond the moral pale as per Richard N. Hass, President of the Council on Foreign Relations. He stated in response to AIPAC’s endorsements: “… it is morally bankrupt and shortsighted to back [those] who undermine democracy just because they support Israel. What ties the two countries is a commitment to democracy. An undemocratic America could easily distance itself from the Jewish state.” AIPAC has also endorsed candidates who promotes white supremacists and support candidates who spit-out vitriol and bigoted comments against LGBTQ, Muslims and Latinos.AIPAC has a long history of using coercive methods such as boycott and intimidation of academics, politicians, human rights attorneys, and anyone who criticize ZI as Anti-Semites. Just look at the careers of John Mearsheimer and Stephen Walt who wrote the book on “The Israel Lobby and U.S. Foreign Policy.” https://www.amazon.com/Israel-Lobby-U-S-Foreign-Policy/dp/0374531501 Arab and Jews have lived in peace since the advent of Islam, and when Jews were compelled to leave Europe they found refuge in the Muslim countries, as far as Iran. Anti-Semitism is the most ancient hatred, rooted in Christian religion – killing of Jesus, which is known as “deicide.” Anti-Semitism was born in the Europe and Zionism is the by-product. How conveniently Anti-Semitism is now blame on Arabs and Muslims. Advocating for a Two-State Solution (TSS), criticizing policies of the ZI, and speaking up in support of Palestinian rights is not anti-Zionist nor is its Anti-Semitic. Since the inception in 1953 of AIPAC has been lobbying and messaging lies which has resulted a distorted U.S. foreign by providing unconditional financial support to the Zionist State of Israel.AIPAC with its powerful lobby in the USA and at the United Nation has influenced the US to veto forty-two (42) times against any resolution condemning Israeli regime. Israeli influence is something that is taboo to discuss. If you start a discussion many people will just accuse you of being Anti-Semitic or labeled you as racist or extremist or anti-Israel.This unconditional US support of Israeli regime has led to ethnic cleansing, illegal settlements, annexation, imprisoning political, confiscating Palestinian land, and demolition of homes. Restriction of movement of Palestinians by building walls and checkpoint has not only jeopardize the TSS but, also failed create the moderate Palestinian leadership. “Paradigm Lost: From Two-State Solution to One-State Reality,” Ian S. Lustick, a professor of political science at the University of Pennsylvania writes: “…indeed, overwhelming support that successive American administrations giving Israel have destroyed any chance of TSS, but resulted in an irreversible one-state reality”.Moreover, the annexation and presence of some 620,000 foreign Israeli settlers in the West Bank and East Jerusalem complicated the Two-State Solution. The future lies in a one-state solution (OSS) with one person one vote with justice, freedom, and Tikkun Olam —seeking to make the world a better place. This would make all Israelis as a minority in the State of Israel.AIPAC intervention in American Politics is harmful and unwelcome. Any candidate running for elected office should decline the support of AIPAC and its super PAC Israel ‘Is an Apartheid State,’ a Quarter of U.S. Jews Say in New Poll: https://www.tikkun.org/anti-israel-and-pro-israel-in-michigan/ One recent survey reveals that 25% of American Jews see Israel as an apartheid state and 34% see Israel’s treatment of Palestinians is similar to racism in the U.S. While 61% of Jews continue to support the Two-State Solution. Another survey finds that one in ten American Jews support Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) and many are questioning the existence of Zionist Israel. Black & Latino campaign by AIPAC AIPAC is recruiting blacks and Latinx students as moral shields to make the case for Israel’s impunity to influence college students’ opinions about Israel. At many Historical Black Colleges & Universities (HBCU), Florida A & M and other university campuses around the country, AIPAC is financing all expenses paid trips to Washington D.C. and Israel for any students majoring in political science.AIPAC has also finance all expense trips for the Muslims organizations like Emgage, and members of Congress and Senate to Israel to soften the criticism of Zionist Israel as apartheid state. How Muslim group Emgage serves the American empire https://electronicintifada.net/content/how-muslim-group-emgage-serves-american-empire/32566 AIPAC is fostering a young generation of Muslims, blacks and Latinos to affirm that there’s no way Israel can be racist. AIPAC knows that the political power of blacks and Latinos will continue to grow in the years ahead.
