Every passing day, street crimes are increasing in Pakistan. No one is safe while stepping outside their homes and crossing the boundaries. Women are specially attacked during such street crimes as they either are wearing expensive materials or are considered weak to defend themselves. To make the problem worse, the concerned authorities are not at all making efforts to eradicate the issue. One of the main reason behind such crimes is poverty. We need to understand the root cause before taking any action. No one happily tries to endanger his life, however, empty pockets and starving stomachs make people choose the wrong path. The authorities need to work on the issue.
