    Police Chief Tank holds a meeting of all SHOs and other staff for security plan of Muharram

    Tank (Adam Khan Kundi): District Police Chief Tank Waqar Ahmed Khan held a meeting in his office with all SHOs and other staff including DSP Headquarters Inam Khan Gandapur, DSP Rural Hussain Ghulam Bangash and DSP Sub Division Jandola Alamgir Khan. While issuing a special security plan for Muharram 2022, he said that a comprehensive and fool-proof security plan has been set up for the peaceful ten-year Muharram in Tank district, according to which 1652 officers of Tank police have been prepared. And the jawans will perform the duties while the services of the security forces along with the integrated intelligence network will continue to be available. Besides, the district has been divided into three sectors and special forces of elite force are also being deployed on security duties. He issued instructions to all the officers that in view of the security measures, the display and carrying of all types of arms, ammunition and deadly weapons is prohibited under Section 144 of the Penal Code. The publication of provocative speeches, communal and hateful wall chalking etc. is also prohibited. He said that in this regard, instructions have been issued to the elders of the area and the leaders of all Masaliks in the meetings. District Police Chief Tank while expressing his views on security said that all necessary steps have been taken to ensure law and order situation and heavy personnel has been deployed at the entry and exit routes of the district. He issued instructions to the officers to continue the search process, keep a close watch on suspicious persons and miscreants. Speed ??up search and strike operations. Continue the process of verification of tenants residing on the procession routes. He emphasized that no stranger should be allowed to stay in the houses/hotels and inns located on the routes of the mourning procession during Muharram.
    DPO Tank requested the scholars of all schools of thought to play their key role in maintaining the atmosphere of peace and harmony among the people as a good citizen.
