Geography is the most relevant factor which cannot be denied intentionally or unintentionally. Geography of the countries has been a blessing and disguise to many countries but at the same time it is a nightmare to the less powerful countries. It provides opportunity to the exploiters to exploit the natural resources of the countries because of the weakness of the exploited countries. There will be many examples you will find in which geography has always been playing the role as a facilitator to the exploiters. However, geography has been proved vulnerable to the less united people in those countries. At the same time the formation of alliances has been securing the rights of the weak nations. The strong countries failed to protect the weak nations from the attacks of the strong nations. Both strong powers are reluctant to stop each other. Here for example Geography of the Ukraine is blessing and disguise to the Ukrainian people as well as Bed of thorn. And the same is the case of Taiwan where Geography is beneficial to them as well as a nightmare to them. Geography is a very critical factor especially to the less powerful nations. Ukraine has a very good geographical position because it relates to black sea. It can connect with many countries. Because sea routes provide multiple benefits regarding trade etc. But when Russia confronted Ukraine directly because of its geography. Russia Entered from various routes towards Ukraine. And the best advantage to Ukraine was that the European countries and its friendly countries provided help to Ukraine. Because of the easily accessible routes the European countries provide supplies and basic food as well as needed items. If we take the example of Taiwan. Taiwan is a small island covering 394 kilometers. So, Access towards Taiwan is very difficult because of the Island. Water is everywhere. If any country becomes successful in invading Taiwan then it would be very difficult for the allies of Taiwan to rescue him. It will be very difficult to provide supplies and basic needed items. So, here again Geography plays a very crucial role. So, geography once again makes a clear difference.Pakistan has been provided with the great geography. It has sea routes as well connects with many countries. Pakistan posses’ nuclear power so that is why Pakistan has been actively securing its borders and defeated any violent attacks. But Pakistan has been at a great disadvantage. It has faced an influx of refugees from Afghanistan. Resultantly, the culture of Opium, Kalashnikov and smuggling Culture inherited to Pakistan. So here geography again plays an inevitable role.Hence, Geography is the critical factor in making or breaking the nations. Those nations who unite and possess great power can protect themselves from the outer attacks. However, those nations who are divided are facing dire consequences. So, it depends on the efforts of the nation whether they are getting benefits of the geography or not.
