Islamabad, (Parliament Times) : Azad Jammu and Kashmir Finance Minister and Inland Revenue Abdul Majid Khan has said that the federal government should reconsider the issue of cutting the budget of Azad Kashmir. If the federal government does not reconsider the cut, the budget will be challenged in which they will not be able to allocate funds for development work nor will they be able to increase salaries. Under the financial agreement, the federal government has to pay Rs 74.320 billion for the next financial year at the rate of 3.64% while the federation said that 60 billion will be given.
If such a cut is made, the development process will stop. For the first time, a budget is being cut. The government of Pakistan should review this matter. The previous government of Pakistan gave LOC package, the funds of LOC package have also been withheld by the present federal government.
