ISLAMABAD, (Parliament Times) : Azad Kashmir Prime Minister Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan has said that journalism is an important pillar of the state. All resources will be provided for its strengthening, state media played a militant role in the most difficult situations. Loans will be provided on easy terms and installments to provide employment to the youth. Residential colonies will be set up for Azad Kashmir’s journalist community and white supremacist class. Steps are also being taken to create media coordinators from all districts. Complete resources will be provided for dairy and agriculture to reduce unemployment so that people can become self-employed and provide employment opportunities to others. These views were expressed by the Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir during a meeting with President AKNS Sardar Zahid Tabassum. On this occasion, President AKNS thabked the Prime Minister for taking special interest and taking steps to strengthen the media and for giving prompt approval to the demands of AKNS and for taking the first step towards solving the problems of state media. He said to the first Prime Minister of the state that he is the first who realized the importance of taking the state media out of crisis and significance of media, has taken practical steps towards strengthening it.
