JKSM pays glorious tribute Martyrs of Chota Bazar Massacre

Islamabad, (Parliament Times): Chairman Jammu & Kashmir Salvation Movement (J&KSM) Altaf Ahmed Bhat pays glorious tribute to martyrs of the Chota Bazar Massacre.
Condemns BJP officials recent blasphemous remarks hurting muslims of all over the world.

On 11 June 1991, the Indian occupation forces opened indiscriminate fire and killed 32 innocent Kashmiris including women and children. Despite repeated demands of judicial inquiry, the victims and their families are still awaiting justice. Chairman J&KSM added.

Bhat further added that, India continues to brutalize the defenceless Kashmiris in IIOJK through extra-judicial killings in fake “encounters” and staged “cordon-and-search” operations, custodial torture and imposition of collective punishment. These atrocities cannot break the will of the Kashmiri people in their just struggle for the inalienable right to self-determination as enshrined in the relevant United Nations Security Council (UNSC) Resolutions. Altaf Ahmed Bhat also condemned BJP officials recent blasphemous remarks hurting billions of muslims around the globe.
He added that this is the mentality of ruling party of India, which has values, norms and humanity.

Chairman JKSM while remebering and praying for Tufail Mattoo said that, On 11 June 2010, 17-year-old Tufail was returning to his home in Srinagar’s Saida Kadal area from his tuition classes — but near a neighboring protest, Indian occupation forces chased him Killed him. His killing had sparked protests in the city. More than 120 civilians were killed by the government forces in a few months. The Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) has also in its reports of 2018 and 2019 recommended the establishment of Commission of Inquiry to investigate gross and systematic human rights violations in IIOJK, but till now the families of the martyrs await justice.

While in the month of May 2022 Indian occupation forces have killed 32 innocent kashmiris, among them 2 in custody, while 92 Civilians arrested.

Chairman JKSM said that Modi led BJP government of India is not only against Muslims but it is against Humanity, they are leaving no stone upturned to create havoc, disaster and threat the peace of whole South Asia. Chairman JKSM Altaf Ahmed Bhat also urged the international community to hold India accountable for its grave human rights violations in the occupied territory, which warrant investigations under international scrutiny to bring the perpetrators of these serious crimes to justice.
